HOW HOW – apostrophe and punctuation usage

22 10 2009

SPELL IN

This is very common in Taxis. I am just wondering if Taxi operators do know about this “tag” in their units and for that, i am excited if there is the same line in Cebu’s famous yellow cabs. Hahaha! So whats (what is) SPELL IN? The right line must be, “HOW IS MY DRIVING?” or “HOW’S my DRIVING?” . Always remember, since you are asking, always put a question mark at the end of the sentence. Second, in constructing possession, always use apostrophe and add s (this may apply to some instances but this is the common)

“Produce” is not for Wine

5 10 2009

SPELL IN:

We can correct the erratic phrase by replacing it with the following:

Produce from Spain
Product of Spain

If we will say “Produce of Spain”, it means vegetables and fruits of Spain and it is not applicable for wine and other beverages products. Thus, we are considering the two phrases mentioned above.
